✅Pressure Cook 2 handful of toor dal along with 2 sliced onions, 5 garlic pods, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, a pinch of hing, 2 tomatoes and veggies of your choice for 3-4 whistles. Once the pressure gets released, add salt & tamarind juice as per your taste and mix well in low flame.
✅Take a tadka pan, put ghee/oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, Cumin, Curry leaves , Dry red chillies and one heaped table spoon of this sambar powder to this seasoning, give a quick mix and add it to the pressure cooked dal & veggies. Boil it for another 2 minutes, add freshly chopped Coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
